Hours and location
The public counter of the Mesilla Marshals Property Room is open from 9 a.m. until noon, and from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday. It is reached via the South main entrance from Calle de Parian. The desk clerks or Marshal controls the check in and property releases.
How do I obtain the release of property?
When property is eligible for release and the owner is known, a card is sent to the owner stating that we hold property belonging to them and giving instructions on how to pick it up. To confirm hours or that your property is ready for release, call (575) 526-4138 with the Report number and Property Tag number. You can also call that number looking for losses which have not been reported to the Marshal.
