Some priorities for Community Development in the Town of Mesilla are to:

• Enhance customer service,
• Develop public informational packets that explain and outline the processes for building permits (new, renovation, maintenance, etc.)
• Provide this information to the public through hard copies available in the Town Hall,
• Make this information available at the Town’s web site via PDF files,
• To work towards implementation of the Town of Mesilla 2004 Comprehensive Plan.
